We're doing something really different with this project. We are trying to find a model that will help Kepler's-- and other independent bookstores-- survive and thrive in our digital age. The emotion that people have for their favorite bookstores runs deep (see this blog post by Kepler's staffer Megan Kurashige for one example) and people from across the Bay Area and even across the country are reaching out to find out how they can be a part. If you love bookstores, too, here are some ways you can contribute to the Kepler's 2020 Project:
- Become a member of Kepler's Literary Circle. Contributions to the Literary Circle help support the operations of the bookstore as well as their community partnerships, family programming, and book clubs.
