Starting on July 1, Kepler's will be closed for a short summer break while we work hard to bring you a new store.
Good news: the community has responded very strongly to our fundraising campaign. Even better news: that means that we will be able to start right away on many of the changes that we have planned for Kepler's. We are going to be ordering lots of new books, restocking the shelves, setting up new computer systems, and changing the store layout. To make sure we get it all done before school starts again, we are going to take a short break starting on July 1.

Q. When is Kepler's opening up again?
A.We plan to have the store open again in mid-September. In the mean time, you can order books online through www.Keplers.com.
Q. Why does the store have to be closed to make changes?
A. We are planning a major overhaul both in the front of the store (new layout, restocking of books) and in the back (new computer systems, new staff training, etc). We decided to do it all at once in order to bring you a refreshed and revitalized Kepler's as soon as possible.
Q. What will happen with the author readings scheduled for July?
A. We are working on relocating or rescheduling some of the author events. We might also open the store specially to host some of the events that have been scheduled. Please stay tuned for more information as we finalize these plans.
Q. Are you still booking author events for the fall?
A. Yes, we are! You can send requests for adult book events to pam (at) keplers (dot) com and for kids' book events to angelam (at) keplers (dot) com.
Q. Can we still shop online?
A. Yes you can! Www.Keplers.com is available 24 hours a day.

A. Yes we are, and we are counting on your support. We have exceed our first goal of reaching $650,000 by June 15th and now we are marching toward our second goal of raising a total of $1 million by the end of the summer. We would love your support.
